Neige & Glace Rallye will offer a great opportunity to test both equipment and reflexes

Quiet little forest roads, covered by a thick layer of snow, lead you secretly through the wilderness, unveiling France’s most remote ‘white deserts’. The Haut Doubs and Jura offer the perfect recipe to enchant the most avid fans of beautiful cars and winter driving. We’re talking about the 56th edition of the Neige & Glace Rallye – Snow & Ice Rally –which will be organized 7-10 February 2010.

The Malbuisson region, also known as  France’s ‘Little Siberia’, awaits some 90-100 equipes that will take part in one of the most spectacular winter motor sport events.

Spread over three days, the nine hundred kilometers, most of them fully covered with snow, will guarantee endless stretches of slipping and sliding, revving engines and turning the event into an amazing ride and wonderful competition.

On the evening of February 7th, immediately after the technical scrutineering and administrative checks, competitors will join the nighttime prologue to determine next day’s starting order in the various categories. A great opportunity to test both equipment and reflexes, and a little taster of the treats to come along France’s most breath-taking roads.

Starting in Malbuisson, at an altitude of 900 metres, the rally will then cover three loops of 300km over three days, each loop ending near the 3-star Hôtel Le Lac (the rally’s headquarters). Thanks to the local authorities, this year’s edition will take a short side trip to the Métabief ski resort to compete in an extraordinary regularity sector on an ice-circuit that has been specially opened up for this event. Top level motor sports, wild adventures and a friendly atmosphere is what one can expect at Malbuisson.
