The Ypres Lotus Day flyer gives a nice impression of what can be expected from this Flanders Tour.

This year will see the second edition of the Ypres Lotus Day on 13 May 2010.

Last year a number of 88 cars participated in this sympathetic event in the Western part of Belgium. This Ypres Lotus Day however, which is being organized by the Belgian LotusForum.be and only for Lotus Enthusiasts with ‘Lotus’ written in their DNA, will welcome 130+ Lotus Drivers in this year’s edition.

The cars that are eligible for the Ypres Lotus Day are Lotus Exige, Lotus Elan, Lotus Esprit, Lotus Europa, Lotus Elise, Lotus Seven or replica and Opel Speedster.

The day will start around 09:30H with registration and breakfast in the  ‘Kollebloeme’ restaurant at the Ypres Grand Market. At 11:00H sharp the first participant will be sent on its way for the 1^st leg of this event, the ‘Ypres Silent’, followed by the following legs carrying exotic names like ‘Pool of Peace’, ‘Poppies fields’, The battles of Ypres’ and  ‘In Flanders fields’. Expected arrival in the castle Ter Heulebeke will be around 18:00H where the day will be finished off with a Grand Dinner.
