Alfa Romeo, here seen at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, will take the opportunity to introduce the Alfa Romeo Giulietta at SpaItalia.

The 9th edition of the SpaItalia event at Spa Francorchamps (B) 19 – 20 June 2010 will no doubt be one of the most outstanding events of the coming motoring season.

As the pick of the crop, the Belgium Alfa Romeo importer has decided to launch the brand new Alfa Romeo Giulietta at SpaItalia, in the midst of a big Alfa Romeo centenary party, turning this event into the greatest Alfa Romeo gathering in Europe, ever.

From Alfa Romeo Torpedo to Duetto, from Guilietta to 8C Competizione, a lot of Alfa Romeo models are unforgettable, as they represent Italian creative genius. Their cars have always been created by passionate people, for passionate people.

The greatest pilots, engineers and designers, such as Nuvolari, Ferrari, Fangio, Merosi, Jano, Pininfarina and Zagato, have written beautiful pages in the Alfa Romeo history book. It is this fabulous saga that SpaItalia will present to their visitors, who are expected to show at Spa Francorchamps, the sportive heart of the Belgian Ardennes, in order to celebrate this anniversary.

Year after year, the diversity of this event turns SpaItalia into an enormous succes. In 2010, this tradition will continue with a Tourist Rally, a Concours d’Elegance, the Grande Parade on the circuit and free practice sessions for sports cars. Sports car owners will now have the unique opportunity of a free drive on the Spa Formula 1 track.

Of course SpaItalia does not forget about the other transalpine brands and coach-workers, for many owners of Fiat, Lancia, Abarth, Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Iso, De Tomaso cars will come be and celebrate the centenary anniversary of their sister brand.

Off-track there will be stalls for the enthusiasts looking for rare parts or more recent creations as well as various products of Italian origin. Clubs will present themselves in the paddock area as usual.

Besides the various permanent structures on the Circuit, SpaItalia proposes an ‘Amici Package’ covering more than the usual general access for car and passengers. The Amici Package offers an ‘open bar’ formula in the Hotel de l’Eau Rouge including breakfast, lunch and free drinks during the day. In the hotel a dinner entertainment (Cena Centenario) will welcome the fans for a long Italian evening!
