British Classic Car Meeting St. Moritz

The St. Moritz British Classic Car Meeting combines elegance and class together with the breathtaking landscapes of the Swiss Alpes.
The 17th British Classic Car Meeting in St. Moritz (CH) was an elegant highlight for friends of classic British cars.
The meeting combines elegance and class with the breathtaking Engadine – St. Moritz holiday region, which is located on the sunny side of the Swiss Alps and 1,800 metres above sea level. The Upper Engadine is known for the exceptional harmony of its lake landscape. The valley has an annual average of 320 days with sunshine, mineral springs and an extremely pleasant climate.
This year some 190 Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin and Lagonda, Jaguar, Daimler, Austin Healey and Healey old-timers met in St. Moritz 9-11 July 2010.
The Splügen Rally, with overall winner Philip RINGLER (CH) on Jaguar XK 120 Roadster, was the highlight of the Saturday. The Concours d’Elégance in the St. Moritz village centre on the Sunday saw many winners in different classes. Oldest car that participated was the Rolls-Royce 40/50 HP Silver Ghost from 1914 and owned by Edward John MILVERTON (NSW). No need to say that the postcard weather with blue skies and warm weather played an important role in the success of the St. Moritz British Classic Car Meeting.
The event being joint-organized by the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club for Rolls-Royce & Bentley Drivers – Swiss Section, Jaguar Drivers’ Club Switzerland, Aston Martin Owners Club Switzerland and the Austin-Healey Club Switzerland.
