The 43rd Osnabrücker ADAC Bergrennen will choose their Race Cup Queen after the training sessions on the Saturday.

The 43rd Osnabrücker ADAC Bergrennen 21-22 August 2010 in Hilter-Borgloh (GER) will again offer different highlights to the many sports cars enthusiasts.

As many as 170 cars divided over 59 groups will climb the mountain. The „Uphöfener Berg“ course will guarantee battles to 1/100 of a second, but also offers an ambiance where visitors are invited to experience the Bergrennen from very close, either on track or in the paddock.

The German Bergmeister Norbert Brenner will return to chase the course record with his ex DTM 500bhp Opel Astra. The combination of engine sound and his spectacular racing style, will leave many fans astounded.

This year three European racing series will find their way to the Osnabrücker ADAC Bergrennen. Normally racing at circuits, now on their way to the top of the hill. The Abarth Coppa Mille, the British Car Trophy and the NSU-TT-Trophy will battle with over 50 cars in seven different classes for honour and points for their respective championships.

Carlo Abarth’s small racing cars, the Abarth 850 and Abarth 1000 TC, as well as the Mini Cooper S performed well in the 60’s and 70’s, collecting many victories and titles and are sure to make a big show out of this event.

Familiar names are the German actor Norbert Heisterkamp on Skoda, the German  Bergmeister and record holder of the Osnabrücker ADAC Bergrennen, Jörg Weidinger on Osella BMW, Guy Demuth (LUX) on Reynard F3000, Daniel Schrey on 900bhp Dodge Viper, Michael Düchting on Donkervoort GT and Bernhard Dransmann on Ferrari Enzo XX.

Training will commence on Saturday, starting at nine in the morning. In the evening drivers, teams and guests are invited to attend the annual party, where the Race Cup Queen 2010 will be chosen.
