Classic Race Aarhus
Classic Race Aarhus is a Danish tribute to historic cars and motorsport. After a successful pilot race in 2010, the 2nd Classic Race Aarhus will be organized from Friday 13 May to Sunday 15 May 2011.
The weekend is much inspired by the British Goodwood Revival event and when visiting the website gallery, you will notice that many Danish spectators adapted to the typical period ambiance.
If you are into vintage, historic and classic cars and want to travel North, you should definitely visit Denmark’s second largest city Aarhus, in Jutland, in order to admire these magnificent machines and their heroic drivers.
The race is named Classic Race Aarhus, but is also a family event with activities for the young and the old, the entire family. The street circuit runs along the beach and forests of the Memorial Park and Marselisborg Castle.
Aarhus has many tourist attractions like “The Old City”, Tivoli and Aros Museum of Arts. Apart from that, Aarhus has been voted the best shopping city in the Nordic region and if you are looking for gastronomic experiences, the city has many top restaurants.
The beautiful settings enable the spectators of the Classic Race Aarhus to enjoy much more than just the excitement and tension on this Aarhus street circuit.> Classic Race Aarhus (official website)
