The Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix, together with the Monaco Historic Grand Prix, is one of Europe’s most interesting street races and will be organized 1 – 2 August ’09.

In the center of Copenhagen, classic cars will be roaring through the streets and around Fælledparken, the city’s major park. This year’s edition will be showcasing some of the very best historic motor racing machinery the world has ever seen. Running through one of the largest parks in the capital of Denmark, it is a spectacular chance to experience real historic grand prix racing. In the past few years, the race has become a recurrent Copenhagen event, which keeps both racers and spectators from all over Europe hungry for more.

Track dimensions have improved and the track now has a length of approx. 2.000 meters, with a long main straight and some fast wide corners. Track width has been increased to between 10 and 17 meters, spacious enough to allow overtaking all the way round. Safety features now involve rigid bales of straw, which are both safe and decorative. Visitors do have an excellent view all around the track.
