The Performance Car Show
If you’re serious about cars, then don’t miss ‘The Performance Car Show’, which sits alongside the famous Autosport International Show held at the NEC on 13th – 16th January and open from 09.00 – 18.00 daily.
Featuring a stunning array of exotic supercars, rare and historic models, and displays from top-end manufacturers such as Aston Martin, Porsche and Lamborghini.
The Porsche Club GB, which is the world’s second largest Porsche owner’s club, will be celebrating its 50th Birthday with an impressive display at The Performance Car Show. As many as 20 cars will feature on the packed stand, which will include an exciting range of Porsche racing machines. Expect to see everything from the latest 997 GT3 and Cup cars, to 968’s or Porsche 356’s from Porsche Club Great Britain’s club racing championships.
The Performance Car Show is an extension of the Piston Heads’ web magazine and is the ideal place to see the very best high-performance machines in their full glory.
All visitors to the show get free access to the Autosport International Show, as well as a seat in the Fifth Gear Live Action Arena, UK’s largest indoor race track, where race and stunt drivers show off their skills in some of the fastest and most expensive cars around.
The PistonHeads’ stand itself is where you can meet the team and take a look at the Caterham Academy racer, driven to third place in the 2010 championship.
If you prefer road cars to racing cars, you’ll enjoy the plethora of new models being launched at the show this year. Three of the most eagerly anticipated new cars of the year will be seen for the first time at the show – Nissan will be unveiling its new GT-R, BMW its gorgeous 1-Series M and McLaren will be showing the stunning new MP4-12C. As if that isn’t enough there will also be new cars from Caterham, Ariel and Radical, while Porsche will be showing the GT3 R hybrid racer.> Performance Car Show (official website) > Performance Car Show (youtube) > Autosport International Show (youtube)
