AC Cobras had an extensive racing career. Caroll Shelby wanted it to be a “Corvette-Beater” and at nearly 500lbs (227kg) less than the Chevrolet Corvette, the lightweight car, with 295bhp/tonne, did just that. The new MkVI GTS comes in at 631bhp/tonne propelling the car from 0-100km in less than 3.3 sec’s.
