The 8th Avignon Motor Festival (F) portrays the rich history of Matra Sports with highlights being three straight wins at the Le Mans 24 Hours in the early 70’s and their F1 world championship with Jackie Stewart on Matra MS10, Matra MS80 and Matra MS84 in 1969.

The Automotoretrò Torino is thé Italian exhibition for vintage and classic car enthusiasts and collectors, also including the Automotoracing expo of modern race and rally cars. The world of motor-collecting is currently booming and seems to be a first-rate investment, till such extent, that Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason, a well known car collector himself, has joined the advisory board of a UK based group of investors, who intend to buy € 110 million worth of the world’s rarest and most desirable collector cars.

The Le Mans 24 Hours is always supported by the ‘Le Mans Legend’ race, for cars from a given era in Le Mans history, with classes based on engine size and age of the car. This year Motor Racing Legends, in partnership with Group C/GTP, has put up a grid consisting of real motor sport icons.
